Benefits Of A SEO Sitemap Generator

Sitemap generator programs can be downloaded from various sources on the internet. Sitemap generator programs have two fundamental purposes. Sitemap generator programs help surfers navigate a site effectively. At the same time, a sitemap generator program encourages search engine spiders. Google offers one of the most popular sitemap generator programs ever to hit the internet.

The sitemap generator of google makes it possible for a website to get listed and get updated by the google search engine. Setting up the sitemap generator helps speed up the addition of the web pages of a site to the google listing. The sitemap generator also makes it easier for a site to get noticed by online surfers. In addition, any changes made to a website that has a sitemap generator is immediately picked up by google. The sitemap generator also helps keep online information fresh and up-to-date for users.

Visibility is key to sitemap generator

Visibility is a major concern when using a sitemap generator. A website that is completely indexed has better chances of getting top search engine placement in page results. Many of the popular browsers used by searchers and that support java recognize sitemap generator programs. These include firefox and internet explorer.

An online consumer that searches for a specific content on the web can immediately be directed to any one of the web pages of a particular site. The sitemap generator makes it easier for a search engine to provide accurate results from web pages they are familiar with.

Who can benefit from a sitemap generator?

A sitemap generator is highly recommended for websites that often do repeated modification of their web pages. A sitemap generator can be used for websites of any size, regardless of the number of web pages a site may contain.

Although using a sitemap generator is not a guarantee of increased site rankings, it does however provide a website a better opportunity of getting listed on a search engine.

Working with a sitemap generator

Most of the available sitemap generator programs available on the web make use of extensible markup language or XML. Similar to hypertext markup language or HTML, XML is used widely in blogs and syndicated feeds on the internet. Each line of a XML code for a sitemap generator has a specific purpose.

The location or identifies the name of the web page of a website. The line indicates when the web page was last modified. The format for can either be dd.mm.yyyy, dd.mm.yyyy hh:mm, dd/mm/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm. Shortcuts can also be used to simply the assignment of dates to the cell.

advises the search engine of a specific time frame when the web page is regularly updated. This can either be done on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis. For web pages that are not updated, the value 'never' is used. indicates the level of priority that a search engine should give a particular web page of a website. These levels range from 0.0 for least priority to 1.0 for high priority.

Creating a dynamic sitemap generator

Creating a dynamic sitemap generator is useful for websites containing various web pages. The google search engine makes it easy for users to adapt their google sitemap with the help of a python script.

The python script generates a sitemap using sitemap protocol. This creates a sitemap from either access logs, URL lists or from web server directories.

Tips for using a sitemap generator from google

As one of more popular search engines offering a sitemap generator for websites on the internet, google offers a few tips for its loyal users. Using the google sitemap url encoder/decoder is helpful for submitting sitemaps to google. For websites that have numerous web pages, creating a sitemap can be a tremendous task. For this situation it is best to click on the column title in order to make it easier for a URL list to get sorted.

The google sitemap generator allows users to save their settings after creating a sitemap. Users can use these saved settings as a guideline for succeeding sitemap generator updates. The sitemap generator also recognizes the use of robots.txt files.

Using a sitemap generator is a positive move in getting top ranking on the Internet's top search engines as well as high visibility among online users.

What is Hypertufa?

Hypertufa (pronounced hyper-toofa) is a man-made stone made from various aggregates bonded together with Portland cement. It's perfect for making long lasting garden ornaments such as pots, troughs, bird baths, rocks, stepping stones or even totem poles.

It looks like rock, can be cast into almost any shape, is environmentally friendly, very lightweight and can withstand harsh weather conditions. It is also fairly easy and fun to make.

The hypertufa creations are lighter in weight than concrete and have an ancient look about them, as if they had been sitting outside for the past couple of centuries. They sustain the growth of surface mosses and lichens further adding to their natural appeal and are very plant friendly. They have porous walls that act as a reservoir for water which the plants can use during dry spells. Porous walls also allow for easy passage of air to the root systems.

It can withstand harsh winters, at least down to -30C, so no need to bring them in for the winter. Unless off course you are living in Siberia.

Hypertufa was created to be used as an inexpensive replacement for the natural volcanic rock called Tufa. Tufa was used for many things - it was hollowed out and carved unto coffins, sinks, bath tubs, animal troughs and used for planters by English gardeners. Natural tufa rock was quite popular among gardeners in England before it became hard to find.

This lead to its development. It comes from the Latin word hyper (over, excessively) and tufus (volcanic rock that is porous and crumbly). When hyper and tufa are put together we get "something more than tufa" or "fake tufa rock".

So what makes Hypertufa better for your garden than other planting containers and decorations?

Here are some answers:

  • Lighter than concrete
  • Won't crack like plastic, clay and ceramic
  • Can withstand harsh weather conditions (down to -30C)
  • Last for many years
  • Retains moisture, so plants thrive even with less frequent watering
  • Drains well
  • Looks great
  • Plants love them
  • You can make them at home and have fun while you are at it!

First Ride in the Mountains

Our first ride in the mountains of North Carolina was the most exciting trip I ever took. We rode our 1995 Anniversary Edition Goldwing from Orlando, Florida to Asheville, NC the latter part of September 1995 for the Wings over the Smokey Goldwing Rally.

Living in Orlando, Florida doesnt prep you for weather outside of 90 degrees and humid. The first morning we awoke in Asheville it was 41 degrees and raining. Our hopes werent dashed! Heck no! We were so excited about being in the mountains on our new bike that I dont think anything could have ruined our enthusiasm. What was missing however, were proper motorcycle accessories like good rain gear, warm leather jackets, or a proper motorcycle cover to protect the bike from these wet elements.

We outfitted ourselves as best we could with what we had and off we went. The first thing we wanted to do was ride the Blue Ridge Parkway, and so we did. I cant emphasize the dreariness of the weather. Oh. . .so cold and Oh. . .so wet! I couldnt stay off the CB or my camera. My adrenaline was running so high. To this day I apologize to our friends for burning up their ears while I was exclaiming about the scenery over here, the mountain over there, and generally telling them about everything they could see for themselves.

If you have never ridden the mountains of western North Carolina (regardless of the weather) you are missing a trip of a lifetime. The awesome natural beauty of the area knows no bounds!

We stayed in and around Asheville for 5 days. No, the weather never improved and we didnt care. We rode everyday about 200 to 300 miles and enjoyed every minute of it. We now live in these wonderful mountains and have a 2007 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic and rest assured we have all the motorcycle gear we need. Our Classic didnt come with a helmet to helmet intercom system, so we put that on the bike. Otherwise, we are set!

Does Aerobic Exercise Cause Muscle Wasting?

This is a claim you hear often, especially among bodybuilders, but also among some personal trainers. The most extreme version is aerobics makes you fat, the reasoning being that it leads to loss of muscle, which lowers your metabolism, causing you to gain fat because you're now eating too much for your slow metabolism. These types of claims are based on some truth, as we'll see, but are highly exaggerated. Your muscles are not going to waste away to nothing because you run half an hour per day.

There are some mechanisms by which aerobic exercise can interfere with muscle growth or cause actual muscle loss. The first is that concurrent aerobic exercise and strength training lead to competing adaptations in muscles. For example, steady state aerobics leads to endurance adaptations such as increased mitochondria (aerobic energy factories) and aerobic enzymes in the muscle cells, while strength training can lead to hypertrophy, or growth in muscle fibers. The bottom line is that doing both of these activities has been shown to cut muscle growth about in half compared to just doing strength training [Docherty, 2001; Gordon, 1967].

For those of us that are doing strength training for fitness this is not a big deal, it just means it will take longer to build up muscle mass. But for bodybuilders its interfering with proficiency in their specialty. So many bodybuilders will minimize aerobics or take measures to reduce the interference. I think this is where the seed of this muscle wasting idea was first planted. But note that aerobics in these studies has been shown to reduce the rate of muscle growth, which is a far cry from causing muscle loss. Interestingly, the opposite interference does not seem to occur: adding strength training does not interfere with cardio improvements. Many of us that are into aerobic training will supplement it with upper body strength work, and theres no problem with concurrent training in that case.

There is another way that cardio can interfere with strength training, and that can be by just taking up too much time. I remember a time when I was trying to lose weight so I did about 90 minutes a day of cardio. I tried to do a token amount of resistance training but had little time and was worn out anyway. I had much more success when I cut back to a more reasonable hour per day and left more time to lift. I talk about the appropriate balance of different types of training in another article.

There are a couple mechanisms by which excessive aerobics can lead to actual muscle loss, however, due to overtraining and/or poor nutrition. Too much aerobics can lead to increased production of catabolic hormones like cortisol (often referred to as a stress hormone), which can subsequently cause breakdown of muscle tissue. But aerobics in moderate amounts is a relaxing activity, which leads to a net decrease in cortisol. Only excessive amounts of aerobic activity leads to elevated cortisol levels in the bloodstream after the activity is complete. A study which specifically examined how much aerobic exercise is needed found that cortisol elevations did not occur when running for 40 or 80 minutes, but only occurred in runs of two hours [Tremblay, 2005]. Ironically, high volume resistance training can cause the same effect [Stone, 1998], but Ive never heard anyone being warned not to lift because it causes your muscles to waste away!

The other mechanism is that if your body does not have enough blood glucose, it can manufacture it by breaking down protein. If not enough protein is available from food, it will get it from muscle tissue [Berning, 1998]. Again this is only likely if youre training excessively, or undernourished. The most obvious example of this is hitting the wall in the marathon or cyclists bonking on long rides. You can get irritable and have impaired judgment as the brain, which can only run on glucose, is not getting enough fuel. Ive experienced both of these and theyre no fun. I dont know if my body broke down muscle for fuel but afterwards it sure felt like my muscles had been broken down, or at least beat up. But both times this occurred to me after about 3 hours of exercise without taking in any fuel. On the other hand, many people that are into aerobics, thinking of carbs as fuel, will bump up their consumption of bad carbs like white flour products or sugary drinks or power bars which are basically glorified candy bars. This can lead to an unhealthy lifestyle of poor nutrition justified by overtraining.

There is a way people who do a lot of cardio can end up protein deficient: endurance exercise increases the demand for protein. Its actually provides a small but not negligible amount of fuel (youve probably heard that cardio is fueled by a mixture of carbs and fat, depending on the intensity level, but theres a bit of protein in the mix, too), and protein is needed to repair any tissue damage caused by the exercise [Noakes, 2004]. Strength trainers are well aware that they need more protein, but people who do cardio often are not. In addition, since many who do cardio are trying to lose weight, theyre probably cutting back on calories at the same time, which if you do it by just reducing portion size can decrease protein intake. The typical recommendation for protein is 0.25-0.45 grams per pound of body weight, but endurance athletes can require more like 0.55 to 0.65 grams per pound [Sharkey, 2001].

So dont overtrain and dont underreat, and dont eat junk. Follow common sense procedures like easy day/hard day, dont do hours per day of cardio, and dont try to lose more than about a pound of weight per week. Make sure youre doing a balance of cardio and resistance training, and your muscles will be just fine.

Choosing the Right Golf Club

Having the right size golf clubs could be the difference between playing a great round or playing a poor one. If you want to invest money in your golf game, then you may want to consider buying a set of custom golf clubs. These are clubs that are made after the proper body measurements are taken. While this is much more expensive than buying golf clubs from a store or online, for those who are larger or smaller than the average person, custom clubs may be their only choice. You can be measured for custom clubs at most pro shops or golf club showrooms.

Investing in golf clubs that are sized just for you is exciting, but also has its drawbacks. Most fittings are an added cost when buying custom clubs. Some pro shops offer free or discounted fittings, but you will have to call ahead to find out if these services are offered. Also, if you want to someday sell your clubs, you may have a difficult time because they are made for your body type. Keep these items in mind before you invest money in clubs. If you lose interest in the game, you may be stuck with your clubs.

Regardless of whether you buy your clubs from a store or have them custom made, after buying them, you will have to take lessons in order to become a better golfer. There are many golf schools and programs that you can join that can help. Weekly classes are offered to those who want to learn how to improve their stroke and other techniques. Learn how to golf using the clubs you plan to use once you begin playing on your own. This will make it much easier for you to learn. Once you are out on golf courses, you will feel much more comfortable and relaxed using the same clubs.

For many people, golf is a game that they can improve upon for a long time. There is always room for improvement once you have mastered the basics. There are also plenty of courses to play around the world that offer challenges from water and sand traps to uphill and down hill landscapes. Investing in custom clubs may help you stay focused and improve your game. If you have a passion for golf and play often, it is worth the investment for some good equipment that can help you enjoy the sport even more when you visit Torrevieja in Spain for your next vacation.

Hot Air Balloon Rides in Florida

Florida with its year round sunshine makes an ideal place for a hot air balloon ride and you will find companies throughout Florida.

If you do not mind getting up early in the morning then a hot air balloon flight can make a great change from the usual round of theme parks and beaches.

There is something very magical about taking a hot air balloon ride in Florida, watching the sunrise as you float serenely over orange groves, lakes, fields or the theme parks away from all the hustle and bustle of life below.

Nearly all balloon flights take place at sunrise when the winds are most favourable, though a couple of companies are able to fly in the early evening; it really depends where you are in the State. Therefore if you want to go on a hot air balloon flight you will need to rendezvous with the balloon company around 6 o'clock in the morning depending upon the time of year. Note that some companies offer a hotel pickup service at an extra charge.

Once you arrive, you will attend a pre-flight briefing where you are given safety instructions. You are then taken to the launch site. Particularly if you are doing a hot air balloon ride in Orlando, the company will try to find a suitable launch site that will take you over the Walt Disney World Resort but at the end of the day the wind direction will dictate your eventual flight path.

When you get to the launch site you can usually help prepare the balloon for take-off which involves inflating the envelope with a fan to start with and then the propane burners are lit to fill it with hot air.

You climb into the basket, the flight begins and you will then take off and let the wind take you where it wishes. Depending on wind strength and direction you can find yourself flying at anything from tree-top height to several thousand feet.

Most flights last around one hour and then comes the fun as the pilot has to find a suitable site to effect a 'landing'. All the time you are airborne the chase vehicle will be tracking you from the ground ready to meet you at your landing site.

After the balloon is deflated and packed away, most companies will then offer you a champagne toast to celebrate your successful flight and a certificate of flight as a memento. Most companies also include a complimentary picnic or breakfast, either at the landing site or back at their offices.

It is best to book your flight early in your holiday so if the flight is cancelled due to inclement weather you stand more chance of rescheduling.

Prices are typically around $175-$200 per adult (children are usually around half price) including breakfast and reservations are essential.

Do's and Don'ts

You should dress as if you were going on a walk with comfortable shoes; do not wear shorts, open toed shoes or high heels. You need to be able to climb in and out of the wicker basket (chest height) and you will typically be landing in a field where the grass is probably going to be wet.

Even though you may be flying at several thousand feet, the propane burners ensure that it is not cold though it may not be that warm that early in the morning so dress the same as if you would normally for that time of day and take several layers of clothing.

Make a reservation, ring the night before to check on the weather and don't forget to set your alarm!

Useful Information

If some members of your party don't want to fly, you may be able to ride in the chase vehicle.

Make sure you take plenty of film with you as you will not be able to buy any more once you are airborne!

For the romantics amongst you, can you think of a better place to 'pop the question'?

You should not be affected by motion sickness or vertigo as the balloon flies very calmly and you do not have a reference point like you do if you were looking down from say a building or a bridge. It is more like looking out of an aeroplane window.
